TERRELL OWENS SUES NEW YORK NIGHTCLUB

Posted by David Quinn on July 3rd, 2007 filed in News

terrellowensotto_greule_jr.jpg WR Terrell Owens recently filed a civil suit against the Avalon nightclub in New York City, apparently for non-approved use of his name and likeness to promote a recent party “hosted” by the star receiver. He is reportedly asking for $600,000 in compensatory and punitive damages. While he has hosted some legitimate parties for friends in the past, Owens stated, “there’s a way to do it”. That must mean he must first give his approval and receive some of the proceeds, which is only fair.

Mr. Owens claims he has never been to the club and is also asking the court to prevent any further misuse of his name and likeness by the establishment in the future without his permission.
