Cowboys starting cornerback Terence Newman will miss the remainder of the preseason. Newman was diagnosed earlier this week with plantar fasciitis, affecting his right foot. While he’s sidelined, Aaron Glenn will take his place in the final two preseason games against Houston and Minnesota. Head coach Wade Phillips says Newman should be back on the field in time for the season opener against the New York Giants on September 9th.
