Moving On To The Eagles
Alright everyone, take a deep breath. Romo is all signed up and talking about who is next to be locked up is a bit premature, after all there are still 9 games left to play. The bye week is out of the way, and the Eagles game will be here before the [...]

I just discovered from the Cowboys home page that Marion Barber will be a restricted free-agent at the end of the season. This is very disconcerting and should be the next top priority for the Jones family after yesterday’s contract signing of Tony Romo. Although as a restricted free-agent, there is a little more leeway [...]

Jerry Jones could have waited for the offseason. He could have just placed the franchise tag on Tony Romo and had him for the average rate for a starting QB. Instead Jerry Jones has gone ahead and locked Tony Romo up for the next 6 years with a contract worth around [...]
Posted by Nate Acreman on Oct 29 2007Things To Consider After The Bye Week
So now the Cowboys have had their three or four day vacation and some well-deserved time-off to regroup and refocus. After a weekend of watching some dismal football in England and the Patriots shred yet another NFC team to pieces, I am excited at having a Cowboys game to look forward to this Sunday.
The next [...]
Cowboys Return To Action After Bye
The Cowboys return to action Sunday after enjoying their bye this past weekend. Dallas will head to Philadelphia to take on the division-rival Eagles in the Sunday night game. The Cowboys are 6-and-1, a half-game ahead of the 6-and-2 New York Giants, who beat the winless Miami Dolphins 13-10 yesterday in London, England.

While there is still no prognosis on when or even if Terry Glenn can return to the Cowboys to play this season, Coach Wade Phillips did mention just where Terry Glenn is in his rehabilitation. Terry Glenn, who underwent two arthroscopic surgeries during the off season, is now building up his [...]

Dallas Cowboys CB Anthony Henry has taken another step toward coming back from his high ankle sprain. Henry, who has not played since week four against the Rams, showed up to training Wednesday wearing pads. The Dallas Cowboys website, dallascowboys.com, says that if Henry is able to return in time for the Philadelphia game he [...]

Since his partial return and ever-increasing playing time, LB Greg Ellis has made a definite impression on this Cowboys’ defense. Already with 4 1/2 sacks, he is closing in on Ware’s 5 1/2 for the year in only half the time. With his steady return to full health and a starting role, the Dallas D [...]
Posted by David Quinn on Oct 23 2007Despite 6-1 Record Plenty for Cowboys to Work on During the Bye
The 6 and 1 Dallas Cowboys might be the highest scoring offense in the NFC and the second highest in the NFL. Tony Romo might be behind only Tom Brady in touchdown passes thrown, and might be closing in on a few club records this season. The Cowboys might have their best record after 7 [...]
Posted by Nate Acreman on Oct 22 2007Cowboys Rely On Big Plays In Second Half To Survive Vikings
After dominating the first half in terms of yardage and time-of-possession, the Cowboys got two big defensive plays in the second half Sunday afternoon to defeat the Vikings 24-14. Even though Tony Romo was 24 of 27 for 247 yards with 1 TD as Dallas scored their first touchdown in the first quarter of a game [...]
