The problem wasn't necessarily Roy Williams, or should I say not just Roy Williams. With out Anthony Henry on the field and relying on Reeves and Jones to cover Wes Welker and Dante Stallworth had a lot to do with it. The focus for the Cowboys in that situation was not getting beat deep. For the most part they were successful, but they allowed a lot of underneath plays and ultimately were unable to stop the Pats on third down conversions. The problems on offense, was I think, even bigger. For every other big play the Cowboys made was brought back because of a penalty. I have a feeling though if we get our speed guy Terry Glenn back, a lot of those problems might be fixed, or at least be hidden a little more with the presence of a deep threat.

Overall, I am still proud of the Dallas Cowboys, they may have lost by 20 points but they were in the game all the way up until the fourth Quarter. Just need to pick up the play a little longer. Good news is, none of the teams on the rest of the Cowboys schedule are as good as the Patriots are.

Did anyone really think, going into this season, that Dallas would be 5-1? This is a great start, lets bring up the play next week!

When and why does R.Williams decide that He must help stop the run,and get close to the line of scrimmage, against a team that averages 40 pass attempts each game?

Loquacist, of course the secondary could still very well be a problem, this is where it will be essential for Dallas to get to the QB. They have been doing very good with that in the past games, if they can do it against the Patriots they can buy themselves the opportunities they need to keep the game alive.

Yes, I guess we do see it to possibly end up the same. Which is good if it does. Thanks for the contribution.

The main thing that worries me, is of course New England's passing attack against a depleted Dallas secondary that misses Henry and has Roy who can't cover.
