New Stadium Reaches First Milestone
Posted by David Quinn on October 19th, 2007 filed in MainAs I was perusing the Cowboys homepage today, I discovered a nice fact about the new $1 billion stadium being erected in Arlington. The first of two structural arches has been completed, as viewed in the picture above. The arches will support the stadium’s huge retractable roof, which will, of course provide the usual access for God to watch his team. I guess he will only be able to do so when there isn’t any inclement weather.
The stadium is expected to be completed in time for the 2009 season and has already been selected as the site for Super Bowl XLV. I highly recommend all fans to check out the stadium’s progress and more photos and facts by visiting the website, dallascowboys.com and going into the stadium info tab. There is a great video about the stadium and all of its features.
