Congratulations to Cowboys on another good win. Not to play spoilsport here, but it wasn't as impressive as it could be for me. I just want to add a few of my own observations from the game.

Our defense did a good job of unnerving Brett Favre and containing their offense in the beginning. But once Rodgers took up job, our defense seemed to have a hard time adjusting to him. He seemed very mobile and at times seemed emulate Tony Romo himself. Obviously practising as "Tony Romo" over last week at Green Bay must have helped him. In any case, their offense seemed to march right down to our goal line without much trouble. While our defense seems to have gotten better against outside passes, we still have a problem inside passes. That was one negative for me.

Another problem I noticed was that we weren't able to convert on about 4 or 5 third downs. I think that changed with the 19 yard pass to Crayton. Like Dave mentioned here, I also didn't understand using Jones in the third down situation when Barber might have given us a better chance.

Owens dropped a pass and then literally handed the ball to the GB defense on the end zone. I was surprised that no one commented on it or criticized him in the post-game or interviews with him later on.

On the positive side, after the initial trouble adjusting to a new QB, our defense seemed to do much better as game progressed. We were able to get to the QB and defend better against passes later on.

Another thing that impressed me was the O-line. At least in most of the plays early on, it seemed like Romo had all the time in the world just look around and wait till someone is open before throwing the ball, that it seemed so easy. Now, I know that the GB front four on defense are really good. It seemed like they have given up on trying to put pressure on Romo and just cover better. But I would think it is a combination of how good our O-line is and them not trying to hard knowing how elusive Romo is.

Overall, I think we are proving to be good fighting team, trying to adjust to changes from the other team. But sometimes we may need to be reminded that even with all the talent we have, we need to play the game for the full 60 minutes as Bill Belichik seems to tell his team.

Really impressive record so far this season, let's see where this takes us!
