Bears Gives Cowboys Early Christmas

The Cowboys got an early Christmas present from an unlikely source, the Bears. The Bears won over the Packers, Sunday, in the tune of a 35 to 7 blow out. The Packers loss gives the Cowboys home field advantage throughout the playoffs and insures the Cowboys will not have to attempt to beat the Pack at Lambough Field.

The Cowboys were locked in a tie with the Packers win the Boys lost to the Eagles last week. Though, the Cowboys owned the tie breaker, it would have meant them playing through the remainder of the season had the Packers not lost either of their remaining games.  The Bears provided that loss, and now it appears the Cowboys will have two weeks to give their starters a much needed rest before the playoffs. Needed because the Cowboys have had a recent bout with injuries to several key players. At the very least the Cowboys should send a thank you card to the Chicago Bears.
