Cowboys Losing More After Loss To Giants

sparano.jpgTony Sparano is off to Miami to be their head coach and Jason Garrett is interviewing for a second time with the Falcons and was reportedly offered the head coaching job at Baltimore.  It is most likely he will be leaving for other environs also.  So two big reasons for the regular season success of the Cowboys is not going to be in place for next year and Jerry Jones has to begin his own interviewing process to replace these valued coaches.I don’t personally believe Garrett should leave, as we all know what happened to Cam Cameron after just one year of the position, but Sparano is a much more experienced and it makes better sense for him.  Garrett has only been an Offensive Coordinator for one season, and although it was a productive one, it doesn’t follow automatically into being a quality head coach in the NFL, again see Cam Cameron.

Having that said, Jones may be working on keeping Garrett in the fold, but it will ultimately be his decision.  Most people would say “Yes” to being promoted to head coach regardless of the tremendous pressure the position holds so we should probably count Garrett as another loss as well.
