Cowboys after Dom Capers

The Cowboys are looking for defensive upgrades after last season’s disappointing crash. For one, the Cowboys have hired veteran secondary coach, Dave Campo, Tuesday. Now, the Cowboys are looking to upgrade their Defensive Coordinator by hiring Miami’s DC Dom Capers. Capers has been head coach for Carolina and Houston before leaving to Miami. He had an impressive defense in Miami despite constant injuries and habitual loosing efforts.

If hired, Dom Capers would replace the current Cowboys DC Brian Stewart. The two coaches have history together as Capers hired Stewart to his first NFL coaching position in Houston. But Stewart has let it be known that he would be uncomfortable if Capers joined the Cowboys into next season. There has been speculation that Capers could join as a consultant role, but reports hold that Capers told Stewart he would pass on the position. But there occurred another twist as Dallas management and Capers agreed to meet in Valley Ranch Tuesday for an interview.

capers and campo couldn’t lead a hungry frog to a fly (as we say in our trailer park) how can they possibly help our defense.

Good analogy Earl. You sound like an extremely knowledgable guy. Let’s give Buddy Ryan a call.
