Giants Defeat Patriots In Super Bowl XLII, Helps Cowboys Fans Recover

manning-at-tempe.jpgThat’s right, the Giants are actually going to beat the Patriots this time to complete their spectacular “road” season and make all of us Cowboys fans feel a little bit better about our fate so we can begin the healing process.

It won’t be easy, but the Giants are going to study the film of their match-up with the Patriots at the end of the regular season and find the solution to stopping Brady and machine.  It will be much lower-scoring game this time and the Giants will hold the lead they establish going into the fourth quarter, unlike the last time when they blew a 12-point lead in the fourth.

Don’t misunderstand me, I am in no way, shape or form, a Giants fan.  Ugghhh!  I just think that this result could be the best for me and my team.

First of all, the Giants are the underdog to the scheming and conniving Patriots, who I most definitely want to see lose.  Second, they defeated the Cowboys and Packers on the road, both of whom had previously beaten them in the regular season.  No small task which required some sort of superhuman ability or luck, I’m still not sure which.  And finally, at least it will be a team from the NFC East that finally beats the unbeatable Pats.

My prediction, Giants 24 – Pats 20.
