Cowboys Hit Camp Without Two First-Round Picks Signed
The long-awaited training camp for the Cowboys is set to start tomorrow afternoon and the team will arrive today with all but their two first-rounders either signed or agreeing to terms for contracts. Felix Jones and Mike Jenkins are still unsigned, but there isn’t any indication that they won’t either be signed or attend camp anyway.
Most teams are coming to last-minute agreements with their prospective draftees, so it isn’t unusual for the Cowboys not to have all of theirs inked up either. In fact, they rarely do get everyone signed and have their fans frantic about this every year. So don’t worry, injuries and other factors, such as Terry Glenn’s status, are really the only concerns today as the team heads to Oxnard.
Be sure to catch up on camp activities this season as the Cowboys’ camp will be featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series this year.
