Jones Gets into Fight w/ Security Guard at Hotel

Jones
It appears that everyone’s favorite bad boy – Adam “Pacman” Jones – is at it again. According to the Dallas Morning News, Jones, who is trying to stay in the good graces of the league, may be in some trouble as he got into an altercation with one of his security guards at the Joule Hotel in downtown Dallas on Wednesday morning.

Calvin Watkins reported in the article that Jones was having dinner at the hotel when the dispute broke out. The Police Chief on the scene stated that he thought Jones may have been staying at the hotel, and (surprise, surprise) the CB may have been drinking.

The Sporting News is reporting that police were called to the scene, and by then, the fight had allegedly spilled into a bathroom at the hotel. Hotel security broke the scuffle up, according to CBS 11, but at least one mirror was broken in the confrontation. From there, Jones and his bodyguard were driven away from the scene by a woman. No police report was filed.

This of course is going to make major headlines, and it will be very interesting to see what happens when it makes the desk of NFL Commish Roger Goodell, who basically has the power to put Jones right back on the sidelines, where he spent all of last season for his multiple arrests in the past.

Jones has been a starter for a Cowboys secondary that has been picked on and banged up in 08, and if he is forced to miss any time from something as silly as this, the team is going to suffer even more as teams will look to throw even more on the Cowboys than they do now.

I really hate how Adam can get in trouble with the league without a police report. It couldn’t have been that bad if no cops were called.
