The Cowboys added safety Vickiel Vaughn, a Plano West graduate, to the practice squad, filling one of their two vacancies. Vaughn (6-1, 204) started 34 games at Arkansas and was a seventh-round pick by San Francisco in 2006. A finger injury ended his rookie season. He signed with Denver but was cut in training camp this year.
