Phillips Says There’s No Locker Room Issues

With issues coming to a head between T.O., Tony Romo and Jason Witten, coach Wade Phillips is stepping in to give his two cents.

“There’s no issue there,” Phillips insisted. “We’re talking about something that really isn’t there.”

Hmmmm….sounds like a coach that either – A: Does not want to admit there are issues, or B: is clueless. Personally I would go with A. Phillips has to know that there is tension about on the offensive side of the ball, but he just does not want to admit it and let it get out of control.

Phillips dismissed that notion of issues today. “I don’t agree with that at all,” Phillips said. “Nothing surprises me that comes out from the media. There’s always going to be something when you lose. That’s part of football, part of the NFL. I am not worried about a divided locker room.”

He’d better be, as another loss and things are only going to get worse for the 8-5 Cowboys, who are in a dogfight for a shot at the playoffs in the NFC. And to think the Giants await with all this stuff going on. Not good.
