The Cowboys got some good news today, as cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones, whose season was thought to be in jeopardy due to a herniated disk in his neck, returned to the practice field.
Even though Jones, who suffered the injury two weeks ago against the Pittsburgh Steelers, was back on the practice field, he will not play this Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens.
Jones was hurt in the first quarter of the 20-13 loss at Pittsburgh on December 7 when several players fell on him after he muffed a punt in the first quarters. NFL.com, citing a league source, reported that injury could threaten Jones’ career. It was the first game back for Jones following a four-game suspension from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for off-the-field issues. He also sat out two other games.
