Former WR Cris Carter Takes Shot at Terrell Owens

From: Dallas News

Carter, the ESPN announcer, said this of Terrell Owens on two radio shows: “I’d take one bullet and put it right in him. BAM!” Later one, Carter, on another ESPN radio show said, “If I got a gun I got one bullet in it, I shoot T.O. right now. Right on the spot. I have a press conference my first day they hire me, I have him come, I put a bullet right there sitting in him.”

CRIS CARTER SHOULD BE FIRED, FINED, AND JAILED FOR MAKING THAT STATEMENT.

    Chris that was wrong!

Chris…I cannot believe that you would even think such a shameful thing… much less voice it publicly, not once but twice!! C’mon!! Just what kind of professionalism is this?? Absolutely none!!
If TO had made such a comment about you he would probably have been evicted or suspended at least from the NFL by the new police state (clean up the thugs) commissioner!
Too bad Goodell doesn’t have the authority too suspend you for unprofessional journalism!!! You owe TO and his fans an apology. Man up Carter!! Or bang, bang to you too…

  6. This is so not a big deal because I haven’t even heard of this until I just checked T.O’s website. I’m a huge T.O. fan, yet can admit that I have seen interviews in the past and said, WTH, is he trying to get his team to hate him. However, I haven’t seen those moments as much in his time in Dallas. Playmakers want the ball, they want the ball and you want them to want the ball. Let’s rather focus on the facts that T.O. isn’t the problem: Cowboys had nonexistent running game due to injuries to top 2 backs; 3 games with a backup that couldn’t pass further than 5 yards; o.c. unable to adapt offense to free up T.O. vs. double coverage, where Todd Haley was able to free up Fitz in 3 quarters, this o.c. couldn’t do it over the whole year, while NFL Network broadcasters pointed out that offense was too simple and defenses have adapted too well to it from 2007; Romo turned over the ball in every game that he did play in and overall chemistry was down due to losing and lack of discpline. The only issue with T.O. is for him to realize that quarterbacks are the only untouchable guys on the team, not star wide receivers. Don’t believe me, ask Chad Johnson who the Bengals would be willing to trade, Palmer or him. Oh yeah, I wish someone would point out why TJ, Keyshawn and Chris Carter hate T.O. so much. I thought the media was supposed to be objective, not subjective.

good lord people. every player wants the ball in their hands on every play, true?
I dont blame T.O. I have been a Cowboys fan since the 60’s, and must say the offense is too vanilla. With the weapons we have, we should be more explosive. I like Romo, but we do need a better backup as you know. Is Jeff Garcia available still?

  8. Ricardo says:

this is just low…no matter how you feel about TO(i love the guy and im upset the cowboys let such a talent go) you cant say you will shoot him..that is and could be considered a threat…Cris carter should have more class than that…although this is not a big story i would fine Cris carter and suspend him indefinitely…
