Cutler Trade to Affect the Cowboys?

While there is no chance that the Cowboys will be trading to acquire the services of Jay Cutler, there is a chance that the trade could directly affect the Cowboys.

While there have been dozens of rumored possibilities surrounding a possible trade, one that seems somewhat likely is to the Redskins. A trade to the ‘Skins would mean that Dallas would have to gameplan for him twice a year.

If Cutler were to be traded to Washington it could make a dramatic impact in the NFC East. Washington is known for making the big off-season moves, but they have had a terrible time finding a legitimate quarterback.

Acquiring a high quality quarterback could put them right in the mix in the division. Cutler is widely known for his ability to throw the deep ball, and that fits right into the strength of the Washington receivers (Speed).

Any and everything except for the fact that Cutler will be traded, is speculation at this point. Broncos owner Pat Bowlen has come out and said that the team will trade the young quarterback.

However, in order for the Redskins to pull off a trade like this they would have to be willing to trade Jason Campbell, and potentially two first round draft picks. Its hard to imagine Denver letting Cutler go for Campbell and just one first rounder. Cowboys might just want to pay attention to the trade talks involving Cutler, it could be bad news in the NFC East.
