The Cowboys have released cornerback Tra Battle and defensive tackle Casey Tyler. The moves Tuesday came less than a month after Tyler signed as a free agent. He was out of football last season after the Patriots cut him in training camp. Dallas signed Battle off San Diego’s practice squad in November. He had five tackles in five games with the Cowboys.
