Rookie OL Brewster Done for the Entire Season

Pro Football Weekly reports that OL Robert Brewster is done for the season:

Cowboys OL Robert Brewster, who never missed a game in four years at Ball State, will miss his entire rookie season with a torn biceps he suffered in a June workout.

Brewster had been working at right tackle for most of the offseason but also was expected to play at guard some. He also is viewed as a potential replacement for OLT Flozell Adams, but that transition won’t take place this season.

Although he has yet to sign a pro contract, Brewster still will earn a deal commensurate with the players picked around him in the draft. He was taken in the third round, 75th overall and was the Cowboys’ second selection in 2009.

It’s likely the Cowboys will put Brewster on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list because he has to spend some time on the roster for the team to retain his rights.
