The Cowboys signed Shaun Suisham on Monday to replace struggling kicker Nick Folk, who was waived, the team confirmed in a news release. Suisham, who began his career with the Cowboys, spent the past three seasons with the Redskins before being released after missing a potentially game-clinching kick against the Saints a few weeks ago. Suisham was hitting 90 percent of his field-goal attempts, and many were surprised that the Redskins released him despite key misses against the Saints and Cowboys this season, while Folk had been in a terrible funk after a promising start to his career and missed a potential game-clinching chip shot against the Saints on Saturday night.
