Jones Says Little About Wade Phillips Coming Back in 2010

A tough day in Minnesota to say the least for the Cowboys, and after the game owner Jerry Jones didn’t say all that much about the coaching future of Wade Phillips.

“I’m not going to get into the staff tonight,” Jones said. “We had more success than generally we were expected to have. I’m proud of that.”

The Cowboys did hire Paul Pasqualoni as an assistant coach last week. The hire would not have been made if Phillips didn’t want Pasqualoni as part of the staff, the Dallas Morning News reports. “I think it would clearly say, if you sort through the circumstances of Paul’s hire, that it’s [a] go here for Wade,” Jones said. “But again, we haven’t sat down and talked about it.”

I have been a die hard fan of the COWBOYS since I was a kid and I am 45 now. PLEASE JERRY…PLEASE FIRE WADE and get a coach who can get us the next step. A Bill Cower or get Jimmy back. We deserve to be back on top and we are tired as fans…very tired of penalties and sloppy play. HELP!!!!!

I could not agree more. My GOD this team is talented but lacks discipline. Only a great coach can make that happen. Get us what we need JERRY! We have been paying the bills and we deserve as fans better than what we are getting!

I have never been a fan of Jerry Jones but I have changed my mind after his comment about the last TD the Vikings scored. “I don’t know how you take the compete out of Brett Favre” I think that just shows at 34 points it was not running the score.
