Bryant Meets Romo and Williams

The Cowboys had former Oklahoma State WR Dez Bryant in for an interview and tour on Wednesday as Jerry Jones tried to get a read on the young man and whether the Cowboys would be a potential fit for the first round hopeful.  It is unlikely that Bryant will still be on the board when the Cowboys pick at #27.  Jerry Jone is known for his draft day trades, however, and he wanted to make sure to do some homework ahead of the draft.

Jones wasn’t the only person with the chance to meet the first round prospect.  QB Tony Romo and WR Roy Williams took the opportunity to meet and chat with Bryant.”They were nice guys, fun people to be around,” Bryant said of Romo and Williams. “We just had a introduction during my visit and they seemed down to earth.”

The Cowboys are not the only team interested in Bryant. He is scheduled to meet with the Dolphins Thursday, and then on to a host of other teams. Maybe in a month Bryant will find himself back here trying to crack the lineup. Only time will tell.
