Cowboys Fill Out Draft Day Picks

The NFL draft has come to a close and the Cowboys have drafted a full slate of players.  The NFL Draft lived up, and exceeded expectations.  From pick one until the very last pick it was very exciting.  Draft day typically see deals happening, but it seemed even more so this year.  Big name players from Campbell and Morrison, to White and Washington all changed zip codes.  While folks in Seattle look to their USC reunion this year, the Cowboys are going to have some personnel issues to sort out.

Here is a complete list of the 2010 Dallas Cowboys Draft Class:

1. Dez Bryant (Oklahoma State) – WR
2. Sean Lee (Penn State) – LB
4. Akwasi Owusu-Ansah (Indiana Penn) – FS
6. Sam Young (Notre Dame) – OT
6. Jamar Wall (Texas Tech) – CB
7. Sean Lissemore (William & Mary) – DL

With the selection of Dez Bryant the Cowboys now have two unhappy receivers asking for trades. ESPN reported yesterday that Patrick Crayton and Sam Hurd are requesting to be traded. Jerry Jones has said that he will try to oblige but cannot promise anything. Rumour also has it that LB Bobby Carpenter and DE Marcus Spears are also on the trading block and Jones will look to move them soon.

Starting Monday we will be breaking down each draft pick and what their arrival might mean for the veterans at their positions.

Leave your comments on what you think of this 2010 Draft class.
