Romo Practices Despite Stomach Flu

Tony Romo seems to be battling a stomach virus, as Matt Mosely of ESPN reports that Romo took the field at practice despite the flu bug:

While Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was telling everyone within earshot that Tony Romo would likely miss practice with a stomach virus, the quarterback was spotted trudging toward the practice field with his helmet on. He informed the Beast what he’d been dealing with the past 24 hours, but I’ll spare you the details since my West Coast audience is still eating breakfast.

No one would’ve blamed Romo for staying in his room at the Residence Inn, but he thought it was important to join his teammates.

“You’re going to have to play sick sometimes,” Romo told a couple of us after practice. “It’s the same when it’s raining. You’re going to have to play when it’s raining. It’s not really that big of a deal. If you’re going to be out here, you might as well do it.”
