Colombo & Kosier Welcome Sights At Practice

A couple of days after the game and the pain is still there for Cowboys fans. It does not take much to find a chat or forum, even article comments, about RT Alex Barron and how poorly he played on Sunday night in Washington. The fans are upset.

Wednesday the fans got some encouraging news. For the first time since mid-August Cowboys linemen Marc Colombo and Kyle Kosier returned to practice. While their status for Sundays game against Chicago is up in the air, Cowboys fans released a sigh of relief today.

Wade Phillips will go into more detail at his press conference this afternoon, but I’m guessing all we will hear is that it is too early to tell if they will play. Even if Colombo does not play Sunday, do not expect to see Alex Barron back at right tackle any time soon. Expect the Cowboys to go with second year man Robert Brewster. Brewster sat out all of last season recovering from a pectoral tear. He looked decent in the preseason and will get his chance on Sunday should Colombo not go.
