The Cowboys will be turning to their third starting QB Sunday when they wrap up the season against the Eagles, a team that thinks their Super Bowl spread just went up as the team will go with second year pro Stephen McGee at QB over Jon Kitna.
Kitna is banged up and missed part of the Cardinals loss Saturday night. The Cowboys will also sign former UFL quarterback Chris Greisen this week and prepare him to be the team’s backup.
McGee looked good in limited work against the Cardinals. He finished with 11 completions on 17 attempts for 111 yards, including a terrific 37-yard touchdown to Miles Austin that looked like a game-winner until the Cards were able to march down and kick the winning field goal on the final play.
