Cowboys Hand Out Tenders to Four Players

The Dallas Morning News reports that the Cowboys today handed out tenders to four players.

Left tackle Doug Free received the highest tender, one that will pay him $3.5 million next season. If the Cowboys lose him on the free agent market, the club that signs him is required to give up a first and third round pick. That is the same tender the Cowboys placed on Miles Austin last season.

Defensive end Stephen Bowen and Jason Hatcher were both given second round tenders that will pay them $1.934 million. Safety Alan Ball is an original round tender at $1.4 million. If he signs with another club, the Cowboys receive a seventh round pick in return.
