Cowboys Expect To Bring Back LB Keith Brooking In 2011

The Cowboys are expected to keep linebacker Keith Brooking for the 2011 season. Brooking will turn 36 this year, but according to NFL Network‘s Steve Wyche, the 14th-year pro’s on-field play–97 tackles, one sacks and an interception–and off-the-field leadership were enough to ensure him a roster spot. Brooking is no longer an “every down” player, as he is more likely to split snaps with with 2010 second-round pick Sean Lee.
