Long Offseason Could Be Coming for the Cowboys with the Lockout

The Dallas Morning News reports that with the lockout of the players now in effect, the Cowboys and the players are all bracing for what could be a long offseason.

“It might be done today,” said Witten, one of the Cowboys’ union representatives. “It might be done six months from now. This is the whole tricky part of it — the timing on everything. As players, you’ve got to stay ready. I think that’s the message across the board — get yourself prepared and work out together with somebody else.”
