CBA Done; Players To Return As Early As Tuesday

Now that the 136 day lockout has finally come to an end, there is no waiting for Cowboys players and staff. While clubs will likely be able to talk to their free agents starting Tuesday, the Cowboys will be opening Valley Ranch to all their players. While the next few days are voluntary the Cowboys will be opening training camp on Thursday this week. The significance of having Valley Ranch open to players a couple of days ahead of training camp gives the medical staff a chance to meet with players who were nursing injuries to end the season (i.e. Dez Bryant). Players will also have the opportunity to meet with coaches and get any clarification they need regarding the playbook or other concerns.

With the new CBA Agreement in place, the next week will be fast and furious with the rookies agreeing to contracts, RFA’s and UFA’s be able to sign contracts with clubs, and training camps taking off. Stay tuned to Cowboysgab.com for your Cowboys news!
