Romo Been “On Fire” During Cowboys Training Camp

Todd Archer ofESPNDallas reports that quarterback Tony Romo has been “on fire” in scrimmages and practices since training camp began.

With two No.1 caliber receivers in Myles Austin and Dez Bryant and possibly the best all-around tight end in football in Jason Witten, look for a huge year from Romo barring injury. There will still be questions about whether he can win a really big game, however, until he proves it to himself and the rest of the NFL.

Hi Tony. This is Bret. Whatever you do, don’t throw it to the guys wearing uniforms that don’t look like yours. There have been lots of times when I saw a guy open in the end-zone, and was like “Sccccoooorrrrrrrrreeeee” until I realized he played for the other team. Silly me doesn’t get this till after I throw the freakin’ ball. Just a good bit of advice to store away in your noggin. By the way. If you do get hurt, can you put in a good word for me with JJ and Garrett? Thanks. -Bret
