Young Picked Up By Bills

The Cowboys were looking to smuggle second-year tackle Sam Young to the practice squad but the Buffalo Bills hijacked them and claimed Young to their 53-man roster on Tuesday. Young was thought to provide depth for the Cowboys this year but was really hurt with the offseason lockout. He was released over the weekend when the Cowboys signed veteran guard Derrick Dockery from the Redskins. Young will now get the chance to showcase himself for the Bills. The Bills have had a problem finding depth for their offensive line for the last couple of years. This year, they hope that Young can provide some of that lacking depth.

Practice Squad Announced:

The Cowboys have also set their practice squad with one open spot remaining. The following players are on the practice squad:

CB Mario Butler
FB Shaun Chapas
FB/LB Isaiah Greenhouse
WR Andre Holmes
LB Orie Lemon
S Akwasi Owusu-Ansah
WR Teddy Williams

Sam Young was to be the eight, but after the Bills claimed him Dallas has a spot remaining. The Cowboys are still taking a look at what is available before rushing to fill the spot.
