Running back Felix Jones was back on the practice field Wednesday. Jones has been out since he suffered a high ankle sprain on October 16th against New England. He has missed four weeks and his return will see him share carries with, rookie, DeMarco Murray.
Murray took over the starting duties from Jones and has rushed for 600 yards the last four weeks, with Jones out.
It is unclear how the duo will be used if Jones is ready to play come Sunday. It is hard to argue that Murray shouldn’t get the bulk of the load with Jones spelling him and used in certain packages.
Head coach Jason Garrett has been quiet on how he will use both backs, but, Jerry Jones suggested that Murray would remain the starter on Monday, but hoped that both backs would be in the lineup when the team travels to Washington this Sunday.
