Jenkins ready; Austin still sidelined

UPDATE: Tim MacMahon of ESPNDallas.com reports Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said he anticipates Austin will play Sunday after missing three games with a strained right hamstring, although Jones added that the team would exercise caution with their No. 1 receiver.

Wide receiver Miles Austin remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, but the Dallas Cowboys did get some good news with the return of cornerback Mike Jenkins to practice Monday according to Calvin Jenkins of the Dallas Morning News.

Jenkins (hamstring), who missed the last four games, was a participant at the walkthrough practice at Valley Ranch as the Cowboys begin preparation for Sunday’s game at the Arizona Cardinals.

Austin, however, didn’t work with the team during the walkthrough and was doing rehab work as he still recovers from his injury. He’s missed the last three games because of the injury.

Also missing the session were Gerald Sensabaugh (foot), Jon Kitna (back) and Josh Brent (knee).
