Tony Romo Limited in Practice on Wednesday

Tony Romo was limited in practice on Wednesday despite a bruised right hand, according to Keith Whitmire of Fox Sports Southwest.

Romo suffered the injury on the Cowboys’ first drive in their 20-7 loss against Philadelphia when his right, throwing hand collided with the helmet of Eagles defensive end Jason Babin. Romo did not return to the game in part because the outcome meant little in the team’s playoff chances because of the Giants’ win against the Jets.

X-rays at Cowboys Stadium on Saturday and subsequent tests on Romo’s right hand were negative. Immediately after the game Romo said he would play Sunday, which will determine the NFC East champion.
