DeMarco Murray Finally Getting Back to Drills

The Cowboys are encouraged by DeMarco Murray’s improvement, but he is still not likely to play Sunday against Philadelphia, Carlos Mendez of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

A team source sounded skeptical about Murray’s chances, and executive vice president Stephen Jones told reporters Thursday that the Cowboy won’t play Murray at less than 100 percent.

“The position he plays, the stress he puts on that injury, he has to be 100 percent before we put him out there,” Jones said.

Murray was on the practice field with his helmet Thursday.

“We will see,” Jones said. “Obviously, he is starting to make a lot of progress.”
