DeMarco Murray will not practice today as he continues his rehab from a sprained foot, according to Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas who cites a source.
Murray has missed the last four games because of the injury to his left foot, but the team has said he has made progress. Murray has said he would like to play this week against Cleveland but is leaving the decision up to the medical staff.
He was on the field last Thursday in a helmet and cleats but did not practice.
“I don’t know that it’s complicated,” coach Jason Garrett said. “I think you have to assess it. When he’s healthy we’re going to give him a chance to play. And I guess the only thing you could say is we won’t have really full practices next week, so can you really evaluate him? But we’ll take his situation day by day.”
