Bill Callahan Says He’ll Call Cowboys Plays In 2013

Bill Callahan

For the first time since the 2007 season, the Cowboys will have someone else calling plays.

Tuesday Cowboys offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Bill Callahan confirmed he will call the offensive plays in 2013.

“I’m flattered and as I said this a long time ago when we were visiting in January and February, everybody has a stake in this,” Callahan said.

“It’s a compliment to our staff and it tells you the way our guys work on the offensive side of the ball. It’s been productive all the way around. I’m really encouraged, I’m honored and just do the best job for our fans and our team.”

  1. This is a DISASTER.
Why did you hire a man his players accused of throwing a Super Bowl.
Proof or not , how do you know? What if Cowboys get to Super Bowl, do you care if they win? How can the man be trusted? Jones is out of his element and a little out of his mind. Garrett has lost ALL creditability. You can see it in his face and mannerisms. Because of Jones and his dysfunction as a football mind, he has condemned this team to purgatory until such time as a Jones no longer owns The Cowboys. Garrett never had what it takes to be head coach, hes been promoted beyond his ability to function properly, much like Jones.
I’ve been a die hard Cowboy supporter for 51 years. So I know whereof I speak. There are a lot of fans with decades of living and dying with the Cowboys. Any one of us or a group (Board of Directors) could run circles around Jones’ dictatorship. He’s rich, but he doesn’t know diddly about running a team. The legitimate owners, Pats., Ny Giants, Steelers, Colts, etc. let pros run the show while sitting back quietly collecting Trophies. Pay attention Jones, I’d say you might learn something, but you’ve shown you don’t learn.
