The Cowboys waived third-string quarterback Kellen Moore in Tuesday with the hopes of signing him to the practice squad, according to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News.
Moore, 26, was signed the week before the season started and promoted to the active roster after starting quarterback Tony Romo went down with an injury in Week 2
Matt Cassel and Brandon Weeden are the only quarterbacks now on the Cowboys’ active roster.
