With the NFL trade deadline upon us, the Cowboys are reportedly looking for players that could help their team, with one being Jets safety Jamal Adams.
The Jets are looking to purge their roster at 1-6, with that one win coming a few weeks back at home over the Cowboys.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cowboys and Jets have chatted about dealing for Adams. Rich Cimini of ESPN.com is also reporting that Adams is a “hot name” with the trade deadline a couple of hours away.
Adams was a 2017 first-round pick of the Jets, but has spoken out about being frustrated how this season has played out.
The Jets reportedly are looking to move running back Le’Veon Bell for the right price, but the Cowboys already have one of the best in the league in Ezekiel Elliott.
