Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton is getting closer to being back after suffering a concussion after a cheap shot from Washington’s Jeff Bostic in last Sunday’s loss in D.C.
Head coach Mike McCarthy said today that Dalton has been taking part in quarterback meetings, but as far as taking the practice field, he’s not ready to do that just yet.
If Dalton can’t go Sunday against the Eagles, Dallas will go with draft pick Ben DiNucci. A report from the Cowboys official site on Wednesday said that the team is going to ink former quarterback Cooper Rush, who was let go at end of 2020 training camp.
Andy Dalton has been in QB meetings today, but will not practice, per Mike McCarthy.
