With the release of safety Roy Williams, reports say that the Cowboys will move second-year cornerback Orlando Scandrick to safety to replace Williams.
Scandrick was a fifth-round pick out of Boise State last April. He played well last season in the slot when he played for the injured Terence Newman.

The word is in on Terence Newman. The Pro-Bowl cornerback has strained his left groin and will be out for at least three weeks. That means Newman will not be on the field for the first two preseason games (August 9th at San Diego and August 16th at Denver).
