Cowboys Workout 17 Free Agents

In an effort to continue to “churn the roster”, to use a Parcellsism, the Cowboys brought in 17 free agents for a workout on Thursday. They could unearth some depth for the remainder of the year, but it is more likely the Cowboys are looking ahead to February when the rosters get expanded for the spring and training camp.

Here is a list of those who attended:

DB Phillip Adams, South Carolina State
LB Baraka Atkins, Miami
FB Harry Flaherty, Princeton
TE Dan Gronkowski, Maryland
WR Rod Harper, Murray State
G Cordaro Howard, Georgia Tech
NT Travis Ivey, Maryland
FB Jeff Link, Robert Morris
DB Kareem Moore, Nichols State
DB Kevin Payne, Louisiana-Monroe
WR ZaVious Robbins, Hardin-Simmons
LB Brashton Satele, Hawaii
NT Adrian Taylor, Oklahoma
FB Renderick Taylor, Clemson
QB McLeod Bethel Thompson, Sacremento State
DB Donovan Warren, Michigan
WR Dominique Ziegler, Baylor

No word yet, on who, if any, the Cowboys will sign.

Rod Harper would be a great addition to the Dallas Cowboys organization. The way I see it they could use a wide receiver of his caliber. All he needs is a chance. No player can prove he can play unless given the opportunity. This guy is a Diamond just waiting to be found.
