Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo admitted that the Cowboys have become Dak Prescott’s team this season, the Dallas Morning News reports.
On Tuesday, Romo talked to the media for the first time since being named the Cowboys’ backup quarterback.
“Dak Prescott has earned the right to be our quarterback,” he said.
“I think Dak knows that I have his back and I think I know that he has mine,” Romo said. “Ultimately it’s about the team. I’m not going to allow this situation to negatively affect Dak or this football team by becoming a constant distraction.”
I think Tony admitted that he’s fired up to play again
but he understands the situation and doesn’t want to
rock the boat. He will be playing somewhere next year.
